SAVE ROCK AND ROLL by FALL OUT BOY: Album Review

So, finally after almost three years, my boys are back. I can still remember those times when it was even hard to digest the fact that they had "broken" up, but whatever, they are here now and if we believe on what they say on this album, they are here to stay and stay for long since, "Oh no, we won’t go, Cause we don’t know when to quit". So here I go, trying my best to hold back all the emotions that comes while I listen to this album and write the review.

To start with, I must say that unlike FUCT and IOH, this album is not perfect, actually far from it, it also falls short of Folie a Deux. But nonetheless it's FOB and this album is better than just great and hence better than 90% of the stuff out there and will definitely make my top 10 list by the end of the year.

Without delaying further, I conclude that Save Rock and Roll is the best song on the album, hands down, simply the best and obviously  one of their best. The thing I like about the album is it's track listing. Right from the start, I explodes with Phoenix and without giving you a moment of rest it leads to Light 'Em Up. Also, to put Save Rock and Roll in the end is the perfect finishing touch to this album.

Phoenix - 5/5 :
Perfectly badass! They are angry, they are full of rage and they will raise you like a phoenix only to turn you into a remix! "You know time crawls on when you’re waiting for the song to start. So dance alone to the beat of your heart", "You’re wearing our vintage misery, No; I think it looked a little better on me.", "

My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light 'Em Up) -5/5 :
"All the writers keep writing what they write.
Somewhere another pretty vein just dies
I've got the scars from tomorrow and I wish you could see
That you're the antidote to everything except for me

Alone Together -5/5
"This is the road to ruin. And we’re starting at the end" - freaking brilliant!
" Let’s be alone together.","

Where Did the Party Go -5/5
                                         This generation's Dance Dance!

 " I don’t believe a word you say, but I can’t stop listening."
" I will appear to you if you make yourself shake fast enough." - once again, simply brilliant!

"My old aches become new again
My old friends become exes again."

"Whoa, where did the party go?
We’re ending it on the phone."

"I know I expect too much
And not enough all at once
You know I only wanted fun then you got me all fucked up on love."

" You and me are the difference between real love and the love on TV."

" Silent film stars stuck in talking cinema life."

 Just One Yesterday  - 5/5
"Then I’d trade all my tomorrows for just one yesterday
(I know I’m bad news) For just one yesterday
(I saved it all for you).
"

"I want to teach you a lesson in the worst kind of way
Still I’d trade all my tomorrows for just one yesterday.
"

"I don’t have the right name
Or the right looks
But I have twice the heart.
"

"And now I’m here to give you all of my love
So I can watch your face as I take it all away.
"

 The Mighty Fall  -3/5
" I can’t stop it when there’s chemicals keeping us together."
" But if you ask me two’s a whole lot lonelier than one." " Hell yeah, I'm a dick, girl, addicted to you."

Miss Missing You  -5/5
" I know I’m the one you want to forget.",
"Baby, you were my picket fence
I miss missing you now and then
                                    Chlorine kissed summer skin
I miss missing you now and then
."
" The person that you’d take a bullet for is behind the trigger.",
"I will sing to you every day
If it will take away the pain
Oh and I’ve heard you got it, got it so bad
Cause I am the best you’ll never have
."

Death Valley - 1/5
Nothing good for me about this song. idk what they were thinking while making this "song". The dubstep effect in the end is kinda cool but why would I listen the whole song for that you-blink-and-you-miss effect.

Young Volcanoes - 5/5
"The only song without any favorite line but it's a very good song nonetheless."

Rat A Tat - 3/5 : " I’m the lonelier version of you". The only good line for me form this song and it could be one the best lines on the album!

Save Rock and Roll - 5/5
If only I can quote the whole song here, but here are some  of my favorite lines from the song."I need more dreams, And less life" , " I cried tears you’ll never see", "You are what you love
Not who loves you
"," How’d it get to be only me?","No, no. Wherever I go, go. Trouble seems to follow."

Album Rating :  4.3 /5 .

Apart from their music, the best part of being a listener of FOB is to enjoy all those double meaning punches and lines that are nowhere to be found. They are still there but not that frequently as they used to be but still they have not lost their touch and already I can not wait for their next work. I'm just glad enough that they are back and more than elated for just loving this album. So as I try to look into the future, I find it hard to listen to this album more than their previous ones, but for the time being , this will be my jam and what a jam it is!

My Top 10 Albums of 2012

Finally it is here. After delaying it time after time, I have now managed to rightfully utilise my 'precious'  time to compile this list. Believe me, it's not an easy job and definitely not as easy as it was like last year. As I've grown up, I have noticed two things that has changed in my listening pattern and behavior. First is my grown hesitation to try any new artist. It's like getting saturated with the genre of music that you're already into or the artist that you're already listening. It feels like pasturing into a totally different unknown territory where you are not sure of what you're about to get. It's adventurous, exciting, and boring and time wasting at the same time. The second thing is actually the continuation of the first thing i.e. accepting new artists and sound in a lot more numbers than before. For example, I could never have imagined myself even listening to Muse or The Killers and definitely not giving them time enough to name them on my top 10 list. But the fact that I was listening  to a lot of Radiohead last year, has instilled in me something that I call now 'Too-Rad-to-Ignore' complex. This thing happened to me more than one time last year. With almost all the albums on this list, it was like I had to come back again and again to give them another try because I knew that it were not the albums but me who was not good enough to listen those albums. So yeah, I adapted and now I feel lucky enough that I did and now I can listen to a lot more of awesome music while still enjoying my other old library. Now this is something really amazing.
  1. Battle Born - The Killers  :                                   4.8/5                                                                                                                                          Easily the best of the year. Head and heals above the rest. Though it maybe the weakest The Killers' album yet, but it doesn't stop it from being at the top. Try The Rising Tide and Carry Me Home.
  2. Don't Panic-All Time Low4.5/5                                                                                                                                            Best Pop-Punk album of the year! No wonder it comes from the guys who claim 'Enema of the State' as their favourite all time album. Though this may never achieve the popularity of Enema but it clearly is the closest thing to modern age Enema. Simply sick!Try If These Sheets Were The States and Paint You Wings.
  3. ¡TrĂ©! -Green Day  :                                                                                                                          4.5/ 5                                                                                                                                         Man, this was tough. Never was into the trilogy. But this final instalment did the trick. Right on from the start it feels like you are going to experience something wonderful and by the time you go through the whole album it becomes an instant classic. Try Brutal Love and X-Kid.
  4.  The 2nd  Law - Muse4.5/5                                                                                                                                              Has to be in the top 5. Took me a while to get into the album, partially because of how epic Madness is, but this album is magical. Though people may say that it sounds too much like other bands like Queen or U2, but I would say that this is what Muse are good at. There is no problem for me if a band imitates some other band unless they do it good. And good they have done! This album feels like a U2/Queen album but a lot better ;) and this is why it is up here. Try Prelude and Unsustainable.
  5. Born To Die- Lana del Rey:         4/5                                                                                                                                               Well, this is even strange for me too to place this album this high. I will still not say that I'm a huge Lana fan but this album is for sure one the year's best. Try National Anthem and Dark Paradise.
  6. Living Things- Linkin Park:    4/5                                                                                                                                                   It hurts a bit to place this album this low. At the time of release I thought that this would be definitely in my top 5, but thanks to the now top 5s. But nevertheless it's great. It's just that it has some very low points to counter some of it's really high points. Try Powerless and Lie Greed & Misery.
  7. Handwritten - Gaslight Anthem : 4/5                                                                                         This is the only album on this list which is not at it's right place. Haven't gone through the last quarter of the album yet but maybe after an year or two when I'll look back, this may become one the best of all time! First half, is definitely the best from any of the other album on this list, but it's just that I was never brave enough to rightfully judge the whole album :( . Try Handwritten and Mulholland Drive.
  8. ¡Dos!- Green Day : 3/5                                                                                                              From here on now, I have to just complete my top 10 list. It's a shame that I never managed to get into a lot of albums that I tried this year and one of the reasons is because of the albums like this. Dos has some very good songs but then again, the rest of them are just simply forgettable. Try Nightlife, Amy and Wild One.
  9. Of All Things I Will Soon Grow Tired - Joyce Manor: 3/5
  10. Floral Green - Title Fight : 3/5
Other albums and EPs of 2012 :

Candy Hearts - The Best Ways To Disappear EP  : 4.6/5  If not for an EP, I  would have placed in my top 5 albums list. This is that good. Try Sick Of It! This EP is so so good ! :)

blink-182- Dogs Eating Dogs EP : 4.5/5
Coheed and Cambria- Afterman: The Ascension
The All-American Rejects - The Kid in The Street
Free Dimensional - Diamond Rings
Kendrick Lamar - good kid m.A.A.d city
Green Day - ¡Uno!

A RARE INTERVIEW OF JESSE TALKING ABOUT RADIOHEAD!

Talking to Jesse feels a lot more like talking to God than any human should, and not just by virtue of his awesomeness. He's a very calming force: thoughtful and laid back, and – despite his moody and elusive reputation – quite the talker.
DiS: Hi Jesse. How are you?
Jesse Lacey: Hey. I'm good thanks. How's it going?
DiS: What are you up to today?
JL: We have practice, actually, for the first time in a while. We leave for tour in a few weeks, so we're just starting to go over sets and songs, and hash out all the parts we need to be playing and whatnot.
DiS: How did you feel about Daisy leaking online?
JL: We don't really care much about that stuff. We don't really concern ourselves with how those things affect our record sales, negatively or in any other way. I'm just glad that people are interested enough to go download it.
DiS: What do you think of the reaction to the record so far?
JL: People seem to be reacting to it kind of in polar states. I think a lot of people like it and like it a lot. Then there's another group of people who aren't in to it, but more passionately. They kind of hate it. I think we're pleased with a reaction like that. I think if we put out a record that was mediocre and kind of lukewarm, and if it was passive enough where everyone could listen to it and everyone could enjoy it, I don't think we'd be very fulfilled with that.
DiS: Do you think the record is a progression?
JL: I guess you could say there is a progression to this record from the last one, but I think also it's more a digression. We were, I think, returning to a lot of things and ways of playing that we enjoyed when we were younger. I think we're a little bit looser and we wanted to be noisier. We wanted a record that we could play live and have a good time, and I think we've accomplished that.
DiS: You've said in the past that you'd advise new bands against signing to major labels, despite being on one yourselves...
JL: I just feel at this moment in time for the majority of bands like ours, there's not much that a record label can offer them. I mean, really the major role of a record label was to press records, but that role has been diminished because record stores are closing around the globe. Everything's going to be digital, so there's no manufacturing.
The only real purpose a label serves right now is to advance money to a band, so they can have a recording budget. But even recording isn't as expensive an ordeal as it used to be. You can easily record records in your basement now and have it sound just as good as something recorded in a major studio. And in the end I think maintaining the control and decisions in your band is the most important thing.
DiS: You've set up your own label – Procrastinate! Music Traitors – and re-released a Kevin Devine record on it. Have you got plans to put any more records out?
JL: It depends. It takes money! So it depends if we discover anything good or if our friends want to put anything out through us. We're always open to it, but there's no real plan for it right now.
DiS: Your song, 'Sowing Season (Yeah)' is on the new Guitar Hero game. How do you feel about that?
JL: It's cool! I'm a big gamer. I like video games a lot... but Guitar Hero is kind of the one that really weirds me out. When people become very proficient at it, I wonder why they don't pick up a regular guitar. It's very fulfilling when you learn a song that you love on guitar and you play it, it's a great feeling. And that feeling is only slightly there when you learn a song on Guitar Hero. But we're always grateful for opportunities like that and it's cool to be part of pop culture in that way.
DiS: Well, I'm pleased because I can't do holding down strings! I've got weak fingers.
JL: Well, there you go! We'll make an exception for you. Guitar Hero's good for some people.
DiS: What bands do you like listening to and what bands do you think were influencing you when you were making the new record?
JL: To be honest I don't listen to much music any more. There are records I listen to that I think don't influence the band at all. Recently, Band of Horses, Bloc Party, I loved the last Radiohead record and I really haven't listened to any Radiohead records since OK Computer and maybe a little bit of Kid A – they haven't really been on my radar since then. Sigur Ros, Explosions In The Sky...
I think for a lot of this record we were listening to stuff that we listened to when we were younger. We were listening to Superchunk, Archers Of Loaf, Polvo, Modest Mouse, and even a lot of hardcore bands that we listened to when we were younger, like Fugazi.
DiS: How does it feel being a major influence for so many new bands?
JL: I don't know! I wonder if we're still touring in five years and if we take a younger band out on the road, will they be a band that has kind of pressed themselves from our mould. I think that would be really funny. And weird.
It's cool, though. If we're influencing people to pick up and instrument and start a band of their own – you know, not because they want to be famous but because they want to create something and they want to make music and they want to enjoy what it is to be in a band and to share those things – I can't imagine anything better coming from this. I hope we pass that feeling on.
DiS: Your Reading and Leeds festival sets caused a bit of a debate online. It wasn't a very obvious festival set... Like, you didn't play 'Sic Transit Gloria'...
JL: 'Sic Transit Gloria', I actually just forgot about! Sometimes you look at the set list and you go, I know I'm forgetting an obvious song here, but I can't figure out what it is... And then you just kind of go on stage. You literally just brought to my attention that that was the song I was thinking about.
DiS: You didn't allow the BBC to broadcast your set either.
JL: We didn't? Yeah, that's kind of... like... a decision... I'm not even sure if I had a part in that one. But sometimes we just don't feel like we're comfortable with a certain show being aired. We're definitely up tight and weird about those things, but you know, we can't help it.
DiS: What are the plans for Brand New beyond the Wembley Arena show in January?
JL: We're going to keep touring through next year. We'll probably come over to the UK for a little while, or go to Australia and Japan for a while. We'll see. We're not going to tour as relentlessly as we used to, I don't think. We're older now. We're old guys, and so we like being at home. We like writing music and recording it, and going out on tour is becoming increasingly harder and harder to do. So we'll see what happens.
DiS: There's internet rumours that Daisy is going to be the last Brand New record?
JL: I don't think that will be true. It might be our last full-length record for a little while, but we've got a lot of things lined up that we want to record, so I think that will happen pretty soon.
I'm never really going to say it's the last Brand New anything ever. I think we're just moving along with this and when we want to do something, we do it and when we don't, we don't. So if five years went by and we haven't done anything, I don't think that would mean we're not going to record a record again.
DiS: You don't do a lot of interviews. How do you decide who you're happy to talk to and when you just don't want to talk?
JL: I don't know what it is with me not doing interviews. I like talking to people, I like meeting people, I like discussing things... I don't so much like discussing our band, or myself. Those things don't really find their way into my everyday conversations. It's just something I do, and all the things that are attached to it I don't think I really agree with at all. So when people want to ask me about it, I'm like, I guess I can talk about that for a while. But the more I do, I don't want to do it.
It just doesn't interest me. I like playing music. I like being in a band. I like writing music. But I don't like talking about it. So there'll probably be a point coming up in the next couple of weeks when I'll just cancel all the rest of the interviews that I have scheduled for the year and keep my mouth shut for another couple of years.

THE KILLERS: A CONFESSION BY A FELLOW VICTIM

So just after my last post that I wrote that evening, I went on to a wonderful trip of a lifetime to Lapland. Never ever , had I thought that this trip would affect me to an unknown extent. While, the best part is that I never realized that the trip was that good until after at least one week after the trip. Something happened during the trip and I was shocked to the core of my heart. I needed something new, something beautiful and something big as soon as possible. But since, I confess that I'm so lucky :P , I met someone online and I came to know about The Killers' concert in Helsinki last month. 'For reasons unknown', I got this feeling of attending this concert at any cost, even though I was not so much into The Killers at that time. But fortunately, I had a friend who was into them and quickly agreed upon joining me in the concert. From there on began a journey that has now formed into one of the best and most memorable part of my life and I'm just living it! Right now, I'm listening to a 36 songs playlist of The Killers and Bones is on play.Sorry, I digress.

Yeah, so where was I. Yup, the concert. So we went to the concert. Enjoyed our every second. It took a quite a bit of preparation too. I had actually listened to The Killers for the first time back in 2009. I tried their 'Day & Age' and I found it quite good, but not good enough to get into them. For me, they were a good band, but just didn't fit to my taste. In the back of my head, I had decided that I would give them another try, but didn't know when. But as they say, somethings always come around. Fortunately again, they came back. But again, when they released Runaways, I was already listening to this new album of Gaslight Anthem and I found the vocals quite similar and didn't care about them at that time. But during the start of Decmeber last year, I somehow stumbled upon their new video for ' Here With Me' and man, it was stunning. I listened to it on repeat for many nights. I even downloaded their whole new album. But still their was something that was keeping me at the bay. It was like I never wanted to get into them. They just didn't feel my 'type' of band. While I continued my listening of Radiohead, Bright Eyes and Muse. But, then again, it was like the whole nature was conspiring me into listening The Killers. I was almost about to book tickets for the Muse concert but then somehow I booked this The Killers' concert ( because of the phase I was going through). So, now I was kind of forced to listen to their whole discography because hey, no one goes to a concert without knowing thier songs, right?!

Hence, began a new phase of my life and I've already listened to them for more than 1500 times in a matter of just 3-4 weeks! Still, I don't know how, but it was like, everything  was coming naturally. Everything that I tried, I instantly and unconditionally fell in love with. Starting from Hot Fuss and then Sam's Town, every song that I listened I started connecting my current situation with those songs and it was all for no reason. I realized that the image that I had of this band in mind was completely wrong. They are the perfect Emo band that I want, with sad songs full of craziness and upbeat music. It started with 'Bones' and ' The Rising Tide' and then continued through ' For Resons Unknown', ' Read My Mind' , ' Change Your Mind', ' All These Things That I've Done' and I even began to love the songs I thought were okay before like' Somebody Told Me' and ' When I Was Young'. But I think, the song that really made me a 'fan' of theirs is ' Glamorous Indie Rock & Roll'. And see the luck here, I first listened to this song on my way back to Turku form the concert :/. This song speaks to me the most. Then there are songs like 'On Top' , ' This Is Your Life' and ' Goodnight, Travel Well'. It's songs like these that make me stop loving bands and start worshiping them. See, this is what I look for in a band. Not just only their hits but their misses, that keeps me going and keeps me listening to them more and more. Also, songs like 'Sweet Talk', ' Carry Me Home' and ' Under the Gun' , that I've discovered quite late are some more reasons for me to become a die hard fan of them.

Also, I've realized that their are somethings common in this band too with the other bands that I listen to. First being the perfect music, lyrics and vocals. But the important one is this hidden crazyness, madness and sadness in their songs. This weird heroic tragedy in their songs share the same emotions as with those of Brand New, Radiohead, FOB and MCR. I'm sure, Brandon won't like this comparison if he reads this, because (idk) maybe they want themselves to be more like U2 or something in the sense of success but for me they are much more better than what they think they are. Wow, this song 'Sweet Talk' is so nostalgic! Maybe I should end my blabbering now and think about that person and enjoy the pain I feel while listening to this freaking amazing band.

Best Emo Songs I've heard till this date!

(For me Emo is simply emotional. Songs that fill you up with nostalgia, painful longings and yes of course a bucket full of tears! For me, it doesn't mean a music genre or a fashion statement, so there can be an "Emo" band with shitty songs and then there can be world-recognized super popular/respected bands making cheesy-yet wonderful pure emo songs.)

1. Jesus Christ/Handcuffs by Brand New:  This is as emo as it can get. These songs along with the whole album are very hard to listen to. They speak the truth. They scream their heart out. They make you cry  like a baby crying for it's lollipop.

2. Disenchanted/ I Don't Love You by MCR: These songs and specially the whole album is like you're listening to a freaking crybaby. The vocals, you'll either love it or hate it, and luckily I worship it. I was in perfect mood and shape when I began to listen this album for the first time. From then on, I've become more emo and there is no stopping now!

3. Easy/Lucky/Free by Bright Eyes:  Shit, this album is the very definition of Emo! It starts from a nightmare and then an alarm followed by painful background scream and a journey to a magical, lonely and a sad barren landscape.

4. Nobody Puts Baby in the Corner/ I've Got a Dark Alley and a Bad Idea That Says You Should Shut Your Mouth (Summer Song)  by FOB : If this is Emo, then I love Emo. These two songs are like the two lungs of an Emo body. Simply stunning. Pure lyrical genius. Also , the album has some pretty amazing glimpses of sad/emo moments which will fry your brains out. Brilliant.

5. Fake Plastic Trees/ Codex / Creep / How To Disappear / Motion Picture Soundtrack by Radiohead : In short, the whole discography of this freaking ridiculously talented band can be considered as Emo. Right from Pablo Honey to their Lotus Flower, all they've done is make you sad, crazy and sad again. Love them for this!

6. The Boy Who Blocked His Own Shot / Noro / You Stole/ No Seatbelt Song by Brand New : Once again, they've made the list. The reason they are called American Radiohead needs no expalnations. It's like that they love to bumm out the heart of their fans.

7. Demolition Lovers /  Early Sunset Over Monroeville / Jetset Life Is Gonna Kill You / I Never Told You What I Do for a Living by MCR :  Dark, bloody, epic, zombies. If these things don't make you weep then maybe you should try peeling onions.

8. Ohio Is For Lovers / Nikki FM / Decembers by Hawthorne Height : Now this is real emo. Cheesy lyrics, cheesy backing screams and shitload of tears. But still, the thing that makes them different from the rest of garbage is they did hit the right chords, rubbing salt on perfectly right places.

9. Trailer Trash  by Modest Mouse :  If possible try it's cover by Jesse Lacey. Just perfect. Haven't had the chance of going through all of Modest Mouse. But the three-four songs I've heard are so emo, that it's getting hard for me to try out their other stuff. But still, who knows maybe some day.

10. Everything to Nothing by Manchester Orchestra : Andy Hull, I think this guy has some issues. I think he takes joy in hurting others. The whole album is a loud-out-cryout! Sad and nothing else. Just magnificent.

Honorable Mention:

1. blink-182 (yes they are emo, they even have a song by this name  ;) ,just go and listen to 21 Days, Carousel, I Miss You, I'm Sorry and many many more!)

2. I'm Like a Lawyer with the Way I'm Always Trying to Get You Off (Me & You) / Headfirst Slide Into Cooperstown On A Bad Bet by FOB

3. Accident Prone by Jawbreaker

4. Untitled album by Brand New (this should had been in top ten :/)

5. Goodbye Sky Harbor  by Jimmy Eat World (exceptional)

P.S.  this whole article was written in a matter of 45 minutes ( a result of sudden fluctuation in mood of an "emo" guy while listening to Trailer Trash)

The song that changed everything for me

I remember the first time I listened to this song. I was on this train from my home to the college and it was already night. The lights were off and I wanted to sleep. So I put on my mobile to listen some songs so that I could sleep. I remember that I had some new stuff to listen to and luckily I decided to listen to this weird sounding band with a haunting album name. The song was Jesus Christ by Brand New. Today, according to last.fm, I'm listening it for 874th time while I'm writing this blog. I still remember how the guitar intro instantly caught my mind and I felt like I was at some place else. As the song progressed, the first lyrics that hit me hard was, "Do you believe that you're missing out and everything good is happening somewhere else". This thing, this little thing, struck me hard. All alone, on a train after spending one of the best days of my life, I was heading back to my college, to an unknown future. I have always felt that I am missing something and unfortunately, I still do. And then, Jesse ends the first verse with an amazing breath of fresh air like he is trying fly in the air, feeling weightless and thus making me feel weightless. The part where he sings, " And I~~~~, will die~~~~", this really creep-ed me out. Instantaneously, I thought, "WTF! did he just say!".  At the very same moment I felt like I have found the one who shares the same feelings as I do and that guy can express himself in a way I wanted myself to do. As the song continued, the train shaking sideways, lights off, all alone, I  was lost in an eternal universe. Every sentence, every chord and every verse was so real yet the world I just went in was so surreal, it was getting hard for me to sleep. Ironical, yeah! And then comes the bridge followed by the last verse where Jesse screams his heart out, " We all got wood and nails...". At first I didn't get what he was saying but still I felt like those were the most meaningful lines I had ever heard. And this is the power of music. This is what makes me love listening to music. And then came the outro. And this was when the shit just got real. It was like something completely new for me. At the very same moment I realized that what did that outro symbolize.  It makes the song endless. It meant that this song has no end and this thing goes on and on forever and that's when I realized that I've found my ultimate lullaby. I have a lot of perfect songs in my collection. Some lullabies too. But over the 3 years of my listening of Jesus Christ, this song has never failed me. It always, somehow, makes me sleep even when all the other songs fail to do so. Except for that one night(and that is something totally different story). And yeah, if you are wondering that what happened then on that night on train. I'm happy to tell you that I finally managed to sleep after listening to this song for almost 1 or 2 hours.

Well, this blog was just to describe some of my feelings for this song, and not the meaning of the song and especially not to assert that this is the best song ever made in modern music industry. I'm still listening to this song as I am ending this piece of crap.

My inspiration, My Hero- Jesse Lacey

EN: Well I appreciate the time you’ve given me Jesse. I just wanted to leave you with something that made a lot of fans happy and I’ll just dovetail back to the interview you did in the UK. When asked what your greatest achievement was you said that as individuals you were all very content. I think that means a lot to your fans and hopefully even more so now with some of the things we’ve spoken about.
JL: Thank you very much. I think, you know what feels amazing? Out of all the lyrics I’ve written sometimes there is one sentence or one section or stanza that comes out EXACTLY the way I heard it in my head. Everything I wanted to say gets summed up perfectly. And I think, out of all the people listening, if even one other person hears that and hears it exactly the way I heard it in my head…if they connect with it exactly the same way then that’s the roof on my house. That’s my job done.
